Bought it for dad. My dad said it is quite practical and easy to use. Having this, it save much trouble for my dad, no matter what strange shape he wants to record or measure, it all can copy down. Now he can copy anything he wants by himself. Before, we put up wallpaper in our kitchen, we don't have this tool to measure irregular corners, in the end, the shape of some corner wallpaper is unaesthetic. It's so convenient and useful, I wish I had known earlier. The effect of wallpaper for our kitchen would be better.
I saw an ad for something similar, but at 4x the price. I ended up going with this one to see if it will do the job. Its really great for laying floor down around door frames and pipes. This helped me make accurate cuts and I am happy with the outcome of my flooring project - one thing hwoever is, that the bars are rather stiff and hard to adjust. You will need some force to shape it and it wont work on soft objects... at least not mine. I am thinking to maybe try oiling the center to make the bars slide easier. Have not done it yet though!

What a genius invention! Super easy to use! We placed linoleum tiles on the bathroom floor and made special cuts on toilets, door frames, corners, etc., so that it was easy to get the perfect effect. These contour gauges adre saving us so much time and money. We're remodeling an old house with a lot of odd angles. We're currently putting in flooring and cutting boards to the exact shape means less work and a clean, finished look. They're solid and easy to use. The built in measuring guide is a nice touch.
I was installing some foam bricks (puffy decals to make the wall look like it was brick) in my son's bedroom. Working around his closet was such a pain.
